Highway Box Girder Formwork
Hydraulic formwork for highway box girders, used in factory flow-line yards. Side, end and inner forms work with mobile soffit trolleys driven hydraulically and controlled by remote, which also protects the drives from steam curing; the side forms close on independent hydraulic units for good synchronization and little distortion, and the inner form is of the pull-out type. Panel lengths follow diaphragm spacing, mainly 3.0 m and 4.5 m, with 50 mm radius (R50) fillets at section changes.
