Large Box Girder Formwork
Full-span box-girder formwork for high-speed rail, made up of side, soffit, end and inner forms. One set can be converted between 32 m and 24 m girders, so a second set is not needed. The outer forms are modular, with panels light enough to handle by hand, and can be adjusted for camber; the inner form retracts straight through variable sections under remote hydraulic control with only 72 screw props — set-up has been recorded at 45 minutes and stripping at 80 minutes.
