Smart Internal Formwork
Smart control for box-girder inner forms. The crawling system was developed in 2016 and first used on site in 2017: rack-and-pinion drive with variable-frequency soft start reduces inertia at start and stop and allows the travel speed to be matched to the job. Retraction is programmed in the PLC for each girder type — a single command closes the form in the right sequence, with sensors confirming each actuator's position and sequence plates fitted to every control cabinet.
