Full Span Box Girders formwork for precast concrete is mainly applied in railway construction. Catering length variations, HUAN YU’s Box Girder form is designed with fully hydraulic for opening/closing with a remote control. Corresponding to respective types and sequence, the operator carry out the PLC programming, which allows the sensor to transmit the feedback of the formwork working status and to execute the opening/closing action at the appointed position of the formwork.

Our Box Girder formwork has been popular worldwide: Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway, the first HSR railway in the South Asia; MAHSR, the first bullet train project in India, etc. Currently, we are supplying the 80M Box Girder formwork to the Hangzhou Bay Cross-Sea Bridge.

Product characteristics

Segment shape system for box girders

This segments shape system consists of external mold, side molds, bottom mold, bulkhead molds and inner mold. The system is convertible between 32M and 24M.

The external mold is designed in modular, which means each plate is light enough to be assemble easily and conveniently.
The universal structure design of bottom mold can realize the conversion of the 32M to 24M segments, that is not only money-saving but a efficient working approach solution.
For the bulkhead mold, the basin stretching hold is rolled precisely by special tooling, ensuring the angle of the anchor bolt seat is perpendicular to the stretching direction of the steel hinges.
The inner mold is designed in sliding in and out of the whole formwork system by self-propelling mechanism. This solution saves the occupation of other accessory equipment, such as gantry cranes, facilitating the overall project progressing process.
