Steel Formwork System for U Girders

U Girder is the recent girder type applied in urban rail transit elevated lines. The production and construction process of U girders is relatively advanced and novel, and the comprehensive performance has obvious advantages over ordinary box girders. Its characteristics/advantages lie in building height reduction, noise reduction, and high utilization rate of cross-sectional space. It provides driving safety and beautiful appearance that enhances overall aesthetics.

The inner mold is designed in sliding in and out of the whole formwork system by self-propelling mechanism. This solution saves the occupation of other accessory equipment, such as gantry cranes, facilitating the overall project progressing process.
